WOODEN GAZEBO & PERGOLA
Our standard gazebo and pergola are made of Bangkirai (Belau) hardwood. Bangkirai is one of the best tropical hardwood available in Indonesia with its superb durability for over 15 years or even more. In some cases we also make garden gazebos and outdoor pergolas from Indonesian teak wood.
Although almost all traditional gazebos that are locally produced - especially those in Bali - are made from reasonably priced coconut wood, Bali Gazebo Garden only make garden gazebos and poolside pergolas either from bangkirai or teak wood. This policy simply refers to the fact that only teak and bangkirai is not susceptible to white ant attacks.

Gazebo Roofing Options
Our standard gazebos come with Sunbrella canvas roofing. All our Sunbella roofing type pavilions use canopy fabric made from 100% solution-dyed acrylic fibres. The colour, locked deep inside the fabric, is fade-and weather-resistant. The canopy is 100% opaque, waterproof and also protects against UV rays, wind and rain.
Our Sunbrella canvas roofing is light in weight, attractive, durable and long lasting. Sunbrella roofing adds a “modern feel” to our traditionally constructed gazebos and pavilions and is becoming a popular alternative roofing type to thatch and shingle.
As an alternative to Sunbrella canvas roofing, we can make gazebos with iron wood shingle panels roofing; they are installed without using one nail. Easy to assemble. The roof can be used for garages, gazebos, or garden houses. Each shingle panel is available in a number of sizes.
Ironwood is used to manufacture all our shingled roofing. It has been used for hundreds of years throughout Indonesia ans is one of the most durable timbers. 5mm thick shingles are overlapped in four layers in the construction of all our shingled roofing ensuring a lifespan of up to 30 years.
All our gazebos, pavilions and spa huts shingled roofing is prefabricated. Each roof panel has already been constructed in the factory for easy assembley at destination.
All our shingle roofing comprises of four layers-choice of rattan or bamboo weaved interior layer, plywood protective aluminium foil then outer iron wood shingles. This shingle roofing system ensures maximum climate protection and is perfectly suited to designs using exposed ceilings.
Finishings and Joints
The units come standard with a transparent varnish finishing, however, we can alternatively offer a treatment with French polishing.
All patio gazebo and garden pergola are completely knockdown and, therefore, easy to assemble at your home. We don't use any nails in all construction joints of these outdoor wooden structures. Connections between wood elements are made either by tongue and groove jointing system, wooden dowels and/or knockdown jointing parts. We use German-made knockdown fasteners that ensure endurance and durability.
